Applicants must have three years of progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the GS-4 grade level; OR a bachelor's degree or 4 years of successfully completed education above high school leading to a bachelor's degree; OR appropriate combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience. The education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. Experience that may have been gained in administrative, professional, technical, investigative, or other responsible work and demonstrated the ability to:

Performed work related to real estate transactions such as rights-of-way (ROW), temporary use permits, land exchanges, public sales, land classification, trespasses, etc.; researched and extracted real estate ownership data and reviewed realty documents for completeness; developed contacts with realty specialists and supervisors within the agency that demonstrated the ability to work cooperatively with others; assisted in analyzing and recommending resolution of problems affecting the realty area of assignment; and/or prepared drafts of routine realty transactions for review and approval.Please note that Superior Academic Achievement can only be applied if you have graduated or completed (or expect to complete within 9 months) all the requirements for a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. If you are a current federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. This requirement must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
